Review on M.Tech in VLSI from SVNIT,SURAT 5/5

College infrastructure is good. You will get better skill improvement opportunities. Teachers have good qualifications and research level knowledge. VLSI Labs are ok. But work load will be too much, though it will be helpful to you at the end. Some teachers are extremely good. Some are not so good. Only issue I’ve come across is problems regarding choise of Electives. We choose electives on the basis of Syllabus on website. And later on we know that they teach something else and tell us that Syllabus on website is old one, now it has beed changed. Though new thing that they teach is also a good one but they should not mislead students. It there is change in syllabus they should update it on website to. Another thing there is weird thing in electronics department. We have to give thumb as well as sign on register if anyone of that we miss by chance, we are considered to be absent and they cut of stipend! And that does not happen in other departments! Otherwise everything about college is good including labs, campus, canteen and everything else.

In my college I see the reflection of Indian government they are very slow, here faculties have much more knowledge but they don’t use it in proper ways still it is Best college if they start doing right it will cross IITs level.
