Rajarshi Shahu Law College was established in 1972 with the approval of the Govt of Maharashtra. The Bar Council of India, New Delhi, recognizes it. In July 2004, the NAAC, Bengaluru, evaluated the college and granted a C+ grade. By educating students in communication, legal writing, argumentative skills, analytical abilities, and decision-making skills— qualities that are crucial for the legal profession— the College hopes to produce competent professional law graduates.
