Netaji Subhas University of Technology - NSUT Highlights
NSIT Delhi or (Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology) is an autonomous Engineering Institute established in 1983. Formerly known as Delhi Institute of Technology, except Cluster Innovation Centre it is the only the second Engineering institute remaining under the affiliation of Delhi University. On 23 January 1997, it was situated to its new campus at Dwarka, Delhi prior to the inauguration by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. It is being built on an area of 145 acres. It offers a three-degree course- one UG and two PG.
Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT Delhi) Highlights:
NAAC has accredited NSIT Delhi, which is also approved by AICTE and UGC. NSIT has 13 departments that provide 11 UG, 15 PG, and 11 PhD programmes in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and other fields. Accenture, Amazon, Honda, HCL, Honda, Microsoft, Birla, Honeywell, Google, IBM, and many more are among the prominent firms participating in the NSIT placements campaign. It offers a three-degree course- one UG and two PG. Every year, it aims to introduce new courses for students to broaden their learning experience. The admission in the NSIT is done on the merit obtained in the respective entrance exams. The entrance exams for B.Tech. and M.Tech. are JEE Mains-Advanced and GATE respectively.
The NSIT provides the students with various facilities like Medical Centre, Centralized Library, E-Library, Sports, On-Campus Banking, Computer Centre and many more. NSIT has the state-of-the-art hostel for the students. There are four hostels for Boys and two for the girls providing the students with every amenity. The NSIT is being ranked at #8 among the best 100 Engineering colleges of India by Outlook India and #18 in the top 100 Engineering Colleges of India by The Week.
NSIT boasts of good quality of extra-curricular activities and clubs-societies. Its Speaking and Literary Arts Club is famous for its quality and students it produced. The quizzing society of the NSIT is famous in the whole country and they also have won various awards at National Levels in various competition.
