NSUT Admission 2024
Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), currently known as Netaji Subhas Institute University of Technology (NSUT) is a reputed institute. While being a college in the earlier days it was affiliated to Delhi University. In recent time, it has been granted the title of university by the University Grant Commission (UGC). Several courses at UG, PG, and doctorate levels are available at NSUT. Different national-level competitive exams such as JEE Main, CAT, GATE, CUET, etc, are considered for NSUT admission for the respective courses.
NSUT Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria & Selection Process
Interested candidates pursuing NSUT admission need to meet the eligibility criteria and go through the selection process for the respective courses. Those qualifying the eligibility criteria need to register themselves for NSUT admission on the college's official website. NSUT Seat Intake 2024
NSUT considers the seat reservation policy which the state government recommends for the allotment of seats. A number of seats are designated for reserved categories like SC, ST, and OBC. NSUT Admission Process 2024: Application Process
Several courses at UG, PG, and doctorate levels are available at NSUT. Different national-level competitive exams such as JEE-Main, CAT, GATE, CUET, etc, are considered for NSUT admission for the respective courses. Interested candidates pursuing NSUT admission must meet the eligibility criteria and go through the selection process for the respective courses. Those qualifying the eligibility criteria need to register themselves for NSUT admission on the college's official website. The steps below describe the process for NSUT admission:
Step I: NSUT Application Process
Candidates pursuing NSUT admission first need to fill in and submit the application form by visiting the institute's official website. This step requires the candidate to pay the application fee due upon final submission.
Step II: NSUT Selection Criteria
NSUT admission is entrance-based. Different national-level competitive exams such as JEE-Main, CAT, GATE, CUET, etc, are considered for NSUT admission to the respective courses. Valid scores in these exams secure the candidates in being selected for the counselling process.
Step III: NSUT Final Seat Allotment
After finishing the counselling process, candidates need to conclude the final admission process by submitting the necessary documents for verification and paying the tuition fee for the final allotment of seats.
NSUT BTech Admission 2024: Important Dates
NSUT has a BE/BTech course available which is full-time with 4 years duration for course completion. Students are granted admission to this course provided they get good marks in JEE Main. NSUT Application Process 2024: How to Apply?
NSUT BTech admission is granted on the basis of JEE-Main rank. Candidates pursuing NSUT BTech admission need to appear for JEE-Main to meet the eligibility criteria for NSIT admission. The below steps need to be followed to apply for JEE-Main:
- Go to the official JEE-Main website.
- Create your unique user ID as well as password by filling in the compulsory details.
- Login using the created user ID and password
- Fill in the personal as well as academic information asked.
- Upload your scanned passport-sized photograph along with your signature.
- Upload the academic certificates and necessary documents.
- Make an application fee payment fee of INR 1,000 (General category), and INR 500 (reserved categories) to finally submit the application form.
- Do keep a printout of the acknowledgement slip.
Documents needed to fill the application form for JEE-Main
- Email Id, Mobile no.
- Class 10th and Class 12th academic records and details
- Scanned category certificate only if applicable
- Scanned PwD certificate only if applicable
- Scanned passport-sized photograph, scanned signature according to the NTA specification
- Net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI details for payment of the application fee
