NIFT Delhi Cutoff 2023
The students who are aiming to get into NIFT Delhi need to get a minimum score in the entrance exams. Admission is given to NIFT based on the minimum ranks called cutoffs. These cutoffs are published online category-wise as well.
The NIFT Delhi 2023 cutoff was released online by the National Institute of Fashion Technology. The NIFT cutoff 2023 will determine the acceptance of a student into any of the 17 NIFT campuses. Candidates applying to the B.Des, MDes, MFM, MFTech, and BFTech programs must qualify for the cutoff rank. How is the NIFT Cutoff 2024 calculated?
The following parameters are considered while calculating the NIFT cutoff 2024.
- The Total number of students taking the NIFT entrance exam
- The level of difficulty of the paper
- The number of available seats for B.Des and B.F.Tech in each of the NIFTs.
- A student’s score in the examination.
- Last year’s cutoff trends.

About CAT & GAT Exams
(CAT) Creative Ability Test: The only entrance to the B.Des and M.Des programs is subject to this exam. There will be questions in this section to evaluate the candidate’s conceptual development skills, design skills, and strength of intuition. The creative and imaginative use of color and illustration skills is a crucial part of the exam. Candidates need to exercise their creativity and improve their drawing abilities to come up with original concepts using color.

GAT (General Ability Test): The GAT (General Ability Test) for B.Des is a written test of two hours or 120 minutes. It consists of 100 questions divided into several sections which aim to find out the student’s Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
