JORHAT ENGINEERING COLLEGE IS ONE OF THE BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN THE ENTIRE NORTH-EAST INDIA. THE FACULTIES ARE ALL WELL EDUCATED AND VERY SUPPORTIVE. THEY TEACH THE STUDENTS IN A VERY WELL MANNER.
Placement 4/5
Placements in JEC are average. VEDANTA, TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LIMITED, BY JU’s, etc come to the college every year. Also, PSU’s like OIL, NRL, ONGC, APDCL comes here every year. In the CSE branch, almost 80% of students got placed every year. In MECHANICAL around 40%, electrical around 45%, CIVIL around 20% students got placed.
