Great college overall 5/5
It all started after 10th grade when all my friends were discussing their future plans. I was not forced to choose PCM Stream as it was my decision to work on innovative things. It was quite natural to get drawn towards the civil engineering branch ahead of all the other branches as there are many civil engineers in my family who are working in various government departments of Madhya Pradesh. After 12th, I appeared in JEE entrance exam, and got admission in IIST Indore. During counseling, I visited the entire campus and especially liked its infrastructure, canteen and hostel facilities as the campus was clean and green. It gave me a positive feeling. During the 1st semester, I was very nervous about how I would fit in as my grades were low, but in the second semester one of my teachers counseled me and gave me few tips to improve. After working on those suggestions, I got really positive results and the score card went above 8 pointers in the 2nd semester. 2nd year onwards, all the technical subjects were taught. I was facing a lot of difficulties in numerical subjects, but after lots of practice, I was able to do them, and the credit goes to all my faculties and their sincere efforts. During this journey, I learned a lot of software like AutoCAD, Staad Pro etc. There were many workshops conducted by the institute that I attended. My batch-mates and I have done internships at the same place (PATH India). We all learned something new and enjoyed a lot in those 15 days and those were one of the best memorable moments of my life. All the friends I met during this trip are very precious gifts. I thank all my faculties who have taught, guided and supported me throughout my journey (2016-20), They are all other parents in our lives and special thanks to our father figure DG sir.

Best College to Study along with Personal Development 5/5
I am a graduate student from Indore Institute of Science and Technology in Civil Engineering stream 2019 batch. I got placed as a Junior AutoCAD Designer in Pie Infocomm Pvt Ltd in Lucknow (U.P), special thanks to Placement department and Career Development Cell for their continuous help during my placement. After gaining 6 months of experience in designing firm, I switched to GLOBIVA Services Pvt. Ltd. for the process of AMERICAN EXPRESS as an associate, which is world’s top leading Multinational National Company and all this was possible because of the learning and exposure at IIST Indore. The faculty members are just amazing as they stood by us right from the first day till the placements. It would be difficult, to sum up my four years of Indore Institute of Science and Technology in just a few lines. Apart from the curriculum, there are a lot of clubs (SIG) for students to enhance their technical and personality skill. The best part of college is that they provide enough opportunities for internships and placements in top reputed organisations. I would also like to thank from the bottom of my heart to our faculty staffs, mentors, trainers for their support and inspiration. During the most crucial time of placements, Career Development Cell and placement team provided students with a lot of preparatory sessions so that, we can give our best at the time of campus placements. I feel IIST is the wholesome basket for one who is looking to pursue BE and I’ll definitely cherish these moments forever. Special thanks to our Director General Shri Arun S Bhatnagar sir for his support and inspiration. ​

I think I am so lucky to get admission in IIST. 5/5
Indore institute of science and technology provides adequate facilities with rich curriculum. The classrooms of the institute are equipped with state-of-the-art audio-video equipment to support the Blended technology in teaching. The central library is well-stocked and spacious. Medical facilities like free medicines, dressing, ambulance and other value addition are also offered by the institute. Sports complex has outdoor and indoor sports facilities for the students like volleyball, Squash Court, Table Tennis, Badminton Court, Basketball court including special football ground which is the largest in Indore. The auditorium of the institute has state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities. It has a seating capacity of 200 people. It is also fully air-conditioned. For placement, there are many opportunities, and last year during placements, about 90% students were placed. Although all of them are not in core companies, but they have very good jobs, and the placements in non-core companies are very good. Many people got a software job or private jobs. About 80% of the people are placed, with an average salary package offered is about 7 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is about 12.5 LPA. Many top companies, like Tata Steel, Aditya Birla, HZL, etc., visited the campus to recruit students, and the non-core companies like Microsoft, MasterCard, Visa, etc., also visited the campus.

A college worth joining!!! 5/5
In IISTright from the infrastructure to the academics everything is top notch. I got excellent academic support from faculties and principal sir himself took many sessions on emerging technologies. There are various technical groups named SIG (special interest groups) on Robotics, IoT and Android and iOS app Development etc where students can form their own groups and improve their technical skills. With the support and motivation of my faculties and my great interest in Robotics I got an opportunity to represent Indore at IITKanpur for our Robotics club. IIST aims at holistic development and for that it has various clubs like Music club, photography club, art club and dance club. My favorite one is Dance club. My team represented our college at state level RGPV Nodal competitions and won the prize there. Apart from these, our team was selected for Smart Indian Hackathon and we represented our college and university as well, which would not have been possible without the support of our faculties and Principal Sir. Apart from academics, with the great efforts of career development cell and placement cell, I got placements in 4 companies in which two are core companies. With the kind of exposure, I got, I can proudly say that “I am an IISTianâ€.

A reason worth joining 4/5
IIST has a great learning environment with an imposing infrastructure with modernized canteen and greenery all around the campus. Aiming at the holistic development of students many platforms and clubs are there to explore the potential and nurture the abilities of students. With the help of interactive activities by the Career development cell (CDC) I was able to overcome my fear of being from Hindi medium. A number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) enhance our technical skills. To make us industry ready our department has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MSME. Students participate in National level competitions organized by SAE BAJA, where we learn to work in team and apply our technical knowledge to design and fabricate the vehicle. A dedicated Corporate Relation Cell (CRC) works really hard for all students to get placed in renowned companies like Man Aluminium, Asahi India Glass Ltd, Madhus Garage and Dhoot Transmissions are to name few. Time to time cultural activities, sports events, and Techfests are organized in the institute at a grand level. Hon. DG Shri Bhatnagar sir does not leave any stone unturned in providing us best opportunities

Life at IIST 5/5
I am a 2020 batch student of Indore institute of science and technology from ECE department. My four years at IIST have been excellent memory to adore for a life time. Here I found great infrastructure including all facilities like libraries, sports arena, hostels, ground, and hygienic canteen. Cleanliness and green campus are priorities of IIST for which we have green wave club. Faculties are so dedicated and Syndicate in charge (our mentor) give the best guidance to each and every student. Career Development Cell exclusively trains Aptitude, GD, PI and overall personality development aiming at better placement of students. In this institute we have SIGs (Special Interest Groups) to work on emerging technologies like IoT, ML, Android and iOS Application Development, Hardware and Networking, Cloud Computing etc. gives the platform to explore on latest technologies and nurture our interests. As far as the placements are concerned, enough opportunities are provided to every student and with the great support of our placement department and training team we got offer letters from multiple companies including MNCs.

When I decided to be an engineer, I had only one idea in my mind that I will be a part of such an institute where I will get the proper practical exposure of my fundament science in terms of engineering applications. I am lucky that I have selected IIST, Indore where I got so many opportunities to get knowledge, and convert that knowledge into the skill and finally an ability. IIST, Indore is beyond my expectation has all the facilities in a single campus like excellent infrastructure and sports facilities, hygienic canteen, well equipped lab facilities along with skilled faculties, principal sir and a visionary leader our Director General sir Mr. Arun S. Bhatnagar. We have on-campus training and internship programs, Special interest groups for technical skill enhancement, career development cell for placement trainings and various clubs for holistic development. I am using bus facility from my home town Dhar and many of my friends are getting the same facilities from near towns like Dewas, Pithampur and Betma etc . 5/5

Best college in mp region 3/5
The clean and Green campus of IIST gives me a comfortable atmosphere to study and live with my extended family. Here in IIST, Indore we have various SIGs (special interest groups) to pursue my technical interests along with studies. We get groomed as confident individual by the best faculties of our Career Development Cell that ensures a better performance in placements too. IIST, Indore is like second home for me, I am living in hostel since 2017. In Green Wave club not only ensures care of Mother Nature but practices organic farming to provide healthy food for the students in mess. The ragging free campus and hostel has every facility we want like spacious and furnished Rooms, tasty organic food in hygienic canteen and WiFi. We celebrate all the festivals in the campus with full zeal and enthusiasm with seniors, juniors and friends like a family. We very cooperative hostel warden and senior faculty to help us 24*7. Even respected DG sir is available on Whatsapp and stand by us for guidance and support.

I came to know about IIST when I was searching for a good engineering college in Indore after my schooling. IIST has a great infrastructure but as a sports person the facilities like football, basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminton and other indoor games facilities like chess and table tennis attracted me very much. In academics mechanical workshops, quality labs, personality development sessions, technical workshops, internships, A.C. labs & different Special Interest provide conducive environment for learning. Clubs for dance, Music, Poetry, photography etc. are there to follow our passion with academics. All the facilities provide the students a platform to transform themselves into a professional. Aiming at holistic development of students sports functions as well as annual function is organized at grand level. Our respected Director General sir works in a direction to take the college to new heights.

My name is Shubham Kumar ; I am a student at IIST, Indore. IIST offers a mix of basic and advanced level opportunities that makes you a dynamic individual. From the basic amenities like; regular classes with well equipped labs and libraries to guidance, virtual classes through various tie-ups, expert sessions, industrial visits and online platform for Skills building and also provides a range of provisions which result in bridging the gap between study and Industrial requirements. The administration facilitates sports and cultural events on a large scale which support the overall development of every individual. Special classes for campus placement and the efforts of placement cell are the reasons behind the record placements in IIST. The beautiful infrastructure, lush green garden, hygienic canteen and a balanced ambience make IIST the most suitable college for Engineering.
