About: Also known as the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur, it is one of the premier business schools in India. Established in 2011, IIM Udaipur is the youngest member of the prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIM) family. Over the years, it has emerged as a center of excellence in management education, known for its rigorous academic programs, exceptional faculty, and strong industry connections.
IIM Udaipur offers courses in MBA, MBA GSCM, MBA DEM, and PGDBA for Working Professionals. To get admitted to these courses, candidates are required to qualify for the CAT exam with a high percentile. In 2023, the CAP percentile reached 93. It also offers a Ph.D. in Management.

Placement: Internships are good, many good companies coming to the campus. Stipend might be slightly below one’s expectations, but given the current industry trends, it’s not that bad. Same goes for placements.
I’m in my first year, but from what I hear from seniors, the roles offered are good, it’s just that not being in a top league IIM gives you a little handicap.

Faculty: Favourite teacher here is Mr. Srinivasan Tatachari, our professor for Individual and Group Dynamics. His ways of engaging with the students on social media, as well as making the students a part of his research projects, all just make him the best. To know more, you’ll have to be here and experience it first hand.
