About IIM Indore: it is one of the elite management schools among the group of 20 Indian Institutes of Management which is located in the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh. IIM Indore is the sixth autonomous B-School in the league after IIM Kozhikode. The institute was established in the year 1996 and it is spread over 193 acres of land. The IIM Indore Placement Batch of 2021-23 had 568 students, one of the largest MBA batch across all IIMs. The batch was given various opportunities in many fields by major Indian and worldwide organizations.
Over 160 recruiters participated this season, with over 80 new recruiters developing partnerships with the institute. The IIM Indore Placements continue to expand year after year, with the Average Salary for the 2021 - 23 batch standing at INR 30.21 lakhs, a 20.8% increase from the previous year. The Median Salary increased by 12.9% to INR 27.20 lakhs. This year’s most significant pay package or the IIM Indore Placement Highest Salary was 1.14 Crore. The Top 100 students secured an Average Package of INR 52.06 Lakhs while the average for the Top 200 stood at INR 40.55 Lakhs. It is important to note that the PGP HRM Department recorded a 100% placement rate in the recent placement round.

- When compared to 2022, the average package offered to EPGP students during placements in 2022 has increased by nearly 5%.

IIM Indore Summer Placements for the MBA class of 2022-24 have been concluded recently. During the IIM Indore MBA summer placements 2024, the highest and average stipends were INR 6 lakh and INR 2.74 lakh for two months, respectively. During the IIM Indore MBA summer placements in 2024, around 140 companies participated and made offers to students. The Consulting domain was the first and most popular, accounting for 29% of all jobs. Accenture Strategy, Acuvon Consulting, Avalon Consulting, Bain & Company, Deloitte USI, Everest Group, Eversana, Ernst & Young(EY), Infosys Consulting, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, PwC India, Redseer Consulting, Samgara, Teleperformance, and Vector Consulting were among the companies actively seeking candidates for this domain.
BFSI, Deal Strategy, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Strategy, E-Commerce, IT Transformation, M&A, Operations Transformation, Research and Advisory, Risk & Financial Advisory, Strategy and Business Optimation, and Technology Consulting were some of the significant practice-specific jobs.
IIM Indore Final Placements 2023- Sales and Marketing domain
With important profiles like Product Marketing, Product Manager, etc., this domain was the second most popular after Consulting and General Management, HR, and Operations. There were 18% offers from prominent recruiters, many of whom were also brand-new recruiters. Numerous offers were made to the candidates by organizations including Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, CavinKare, Everest Industries, Haleon, Hero MotoCorp, HUL, IBM, Infosys Ltd, ITC, JK Cement, L&T Technology Services, Lodha Group, PepsiCo, Reckitt, RSPL Group Samsung, TAFE, Tolaram and Varroc Group.
