The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta has ranked third in Asia and second across the country as per the ranking result of ‘Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking'. A total of 104 Management Schools participated in the survey where IIM Calcutta ranked on 23rd position globally. Earlier, the Institute was on 28th position. The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, commonly referred to as IIM Calcutta, commenced its establishment in the academic year of 1961. The institute is one of the 13 IIMs in India.
