GGDSD College has five main departments that house a variety of UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes. B.Sc., BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Voc, and a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology are among the UG programmes provided by GGDSD, while M.Sc., MA, M.Com, PG Diploma, and MEFB programmes are given at the PG level. The Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biotechnology programmes are also offered by SD College Chandigarh.

Online Admissions of Non-Centralized Courses:
Here is a step-by-step procedure to complete an online E-Form:
- Web address to visit is www.ggdsd.ac.in.
- Visit the "Admission 2023–24" link.
- Click "Apply Now," enter your information (personal and academic), and upload it. You’ll also need to pay a registration fee (nonrefundable) of Rs. 1000 for the college and an extra Rs. 800 for the hostel, if necessary.
- There are the following methods of payment for the registration fee: Internet banking, credit cards, debit cards, UPI, wallets, and scratch cardsKeep the following scanned certificates on hand (in the event of a new admission or hostel admission) because they are needed in order to upload the documents:
- The tenth DMC’s marks sheet
- Marks Sheet of 10+2 DMC
- The final exam’s Detail Marks Certificate (DMC)
- Character Certificate, Voter Card (if available), Migration Certificate, Gap Year Certificate
- Certificate for Subcategory (One Girl Child, Military, Cancer Patient, Thalassemia Patient
