Department of Law, Punjabi University Patiala was established in 1965. This university is accredited by NAAC with ‘A+’ grade. It is established under the Punjab Act No. 35 of 1961. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. The university is spread over 600 acres of land. It is largest university in the state. 274 colleges are affiliated to this university.
It offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral programs in legal studies which are approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI)

Admission Criteria: There is no entrance examination in the course I have taken admission directly to the university based on my marks in the graduation degree.
