NIMCET 2025 How to Calculate Score
In order for students to calculate the approximate score for the NIMCET 2025 exam, students must keep their answer keys with them to be able to check which answers they got right or wrong.
Students can follow the steps provided below to calculate their approximate scores:
- In each section, students must multiply the total number of questions they got correct with the marks per each correct answer in a particular section. Similarly, students must multiply the total questions they got wrong with the marks that will be reduced. Doing so will result students in having the marks they scored and marks to be deducted. Subtracting the negative marks from the total score will result in students getting the actual marks for a particular section.
For example: In the Maths section, if out of 50 questions, a student gets 40 correct and 8 incorrect, they will have to calculate 40 x 12 and 8 x 3. This will leave students with 480 and 24. Subtracting 24 from 480, students will be left with 456. Hence, 456 out of 600 is a student’s total score in the Mathematics section.
- Students can then do the same process for each section of the exam according to the marks awarded and deducted.
- After getting scores for each section, adding all the scores together will result in students calculating their approximate score on the NIMCET 2025 exam.
