NIMCET 2025 Exam Paper Difficulty Analysis 

The 2025 NIMCET examination was considered to be moderately difficult by students who took the examination. The exam was for a total of 1000 marks with 120 questions. While the NIMCET exam is considered to be moderately difficult, there are some areas where students who gave the exam struggled in. 

Provided below is a subject-wise analysis of the NIMCET 2025 difficulty for students’ reference: 

Mathematics

  • This section was considered to be the most difficult part of the exam. 
  • This was very lengthy with a total weightage of 600 marks with 50 questions. The overall weightage of marks added a lot of pressure to students when attempting this section. 
  • The Mathematics section was very tricky with a lot of lengthy questions. Students who are good with time management and efficiency struggled with this section less than others. 
  • If a student attempted 25 to 30 questions on this section, their attempt could be considered good. 

Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning

  • This section of the exam was considered to be easy to moderately difficult. 
  • This section carried the second most weightage with 240 overall marks with 40 questions. 
  • Students who regularly practiced questions such as puzzles and sequences, did not struggle much, if at all, in this section. 
  • This section’s difficulty came from it being time consuming, not that the questions themselves were very difficult. 

Computer Awareness

  • This is another section that was considered easy to moderate in terms of difficulty. 
  • This section consisted of 20 questions for 120 total marks. 
  • A majority of the questions focused on basic computer fundamentals. Students who were well-versed with technology and computers, did not struggle much with this section. 

English

  • This section was considered to be the easiest section on the NIMCET 2025 exam. 
  • This section consisted of 10 total questions for a weightage of 40 overall marks with only 10 questions. 
  • This section consisted of relatively easy grammar and vocabulary sections. This section was considered to be the most scoring part of the NIMCET 2025 exam. 

NIMCET 2024 Exam Paper Analysis 

In comparison to the previous year’s question paper, the 2025 NIMCET exam is considered of relatively the same difficulty. 

The Mathematics section was considered to be the most difficult section with the most weightage while the English section was considered to be the easiest. The Logical Reasoning and Computer Awareness sections were both considered to be between being easy to moderately difficult as well. 

The questions in the mathematics section were considered to be relatively less lengthy. Besides that, the NIMCET 2024 paper and NIMCET 2025 paper had straight-forward and theory-based questions in the other sections.
