CUET UG History Paper Analysis: Paper Difficulty Level and CUET 2025 Memory-Based Questions Here

The dates of the CUET UG 2025 exam are May 13–June 3, 2025. The precise datesheet for the CUET UG exam has not been made public by the NTA. The CUET 2025 History exam will be administered shortly. We will update the full paper analysis here as soon as the exam is successfully completed. Based on students' responses, the paper analysis will be created. It will include the number of questions, the types of questions, and the overall difficulty level of the paper. The CUET UG 2024 question paper was very long and time-consuming, in line with trends from the previous year.

By going through the analysis of CUET and memory-based questions, candidates can gain a better idea of question types, section-wise difficulty level, highest weightage topics and more. Students are also provided with popular topics covered in the exam, along with the CUET UG paper analysis 2025.

CUET Marking Scheme 2025 

Students may refer to the following table to check out the complete marking scheme of CUET UG 2025. 

Aspect

Correct Answer

5 marks for each correct answer in all sections (except language)

Incorrect Answer

1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer in all sections

Unattempted Question

No marks are awarded or deducted for unattempted questions

Dropped Questions

In case questions are dropped from the exam (e.g., errors or issues), candidates will be awarded 5 marks for each such question

Section-Wise Application

For sections like Language, Domain-Specific, and General Test, the marking scheme follows the same rules (5 for correct, 1 for incorrect)

Total Marks Calculation

The total score is calculated by adding up the marks from all correct answers, deducting marks for incorrect answers, and not awarding or deducting marks for unattempted questions

Negative Marking in Sections

Sections with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will have negative marking (1 mark for wrong answers), but sections with descriptive answers do not have negative marking
