Does CUET UG Have an Attempt Limit?
No, the CUET UG examination does not have any form of attempt limit. Students may give the CUET examination again if they do not clear the exam or do not get into their colleges of choice. However, students will have to check if they still meet the required eligibility for the CUET UG examination. The eligibility for CUET UG mainly requires students to have completed their class 12th from a recognized board. Some colleges do have lower and upper age limits which can affect student’s admission if they are no longer eligible.
Besides these factors, as long as a student meets the eligibility for the CUET UG exam they can give the paper as many times as they wish.
Will CUET UG 2025 Have Normalization?
While the NTA has implemented normalization for the CUET UG examination before, it will not be doing so for the 2025 exam. The CUET UG 2025 examination will not have normalization despite the same exam being conducted on different days in different cities. While this may cause confusion amongst students, as it stands, the CUET UG 2025 exam has had no changes so far.
Does CUET UG Have Negative Marking?
Yes, the CUET UG examination will have negative marking as part of the examination pattern. In all sections of the CUET UG exam, students will score 5 marks for every correct answer. However, for any incorrect answer students will have a negative marking of 1 mark. Unattempted questions will not add or reduce any marks.
