- The Karnataka PGCET 2023 Counselling date has been revised for VTU PG courses. The date has been extended to January 20, 2024.
- The Karnataka PUC 2 examination will be held from March 2 to March 22, 2024. The admit card will be released in February 2024.
- The GATE 2024 examination will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. The admit card has been released for download on IISc's official website.
Visvesvaraya Technological University is a state university in Karnataka. It is one of the largest Technological Universities in India with 24 years of excellence. It came into existence in the year 1998 to cater to the needs of Indian industries for trained technical manpower with practical experience and sound theoretical knowledge. VTU is accredited through AICTE, and UGC, and has a NAAC grade of ‘B++’. VTU has 182 affiliated colleges, 25 autonomous colleges, and 1 constituent college which offers 37 Undergraduate, 96 Postgraduate, and Ph.D. & M.Sc. (Engineering) research programs with 7 faculties. VTU has four regional centers across Karnataka in Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kalaburagi, and Mysore. It accepts a few entrance examinations for admission which are Karnataka PGCET, Karnataka PUC 2, KCET, CAT, and GATE.
