Presidency University Admission Highlights
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech must have qualified JEE Main, KCET, or COMED K entrance examinations with a valid score. Candidates with a valid score in any state level entrance examination would also be considered eligible for admission.
- Candidates seeking admission to the Integrated LLB programs must have qualified LSAT or CLAT entrance examinations conducted at the national level.
- For admission to MBA, candidates must possess a valid score in CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, or Karnataka PGCET. Candidates would still be required to sit through the Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion, and Personal Interview round conducted by the university.
- For admission to Ph. D. program, candidates must qualify the research entrance test followed by a Personal Interview round conducted by the university.
- Admission to Ph. D can also be done if candidates possess a valid score in CSIR NET, UGC NET, GATE, CEED, or KSET entrance examinations. Candidates, in this case, would only be required to qualify the personal interview round conducted at the university.

Presidency University B. Tech Admission
The School of Engineering (Presidency University) offers B. Tech program at the undergraduate level. The program is offered under several specializations. Candidates seeking admission to any of the programs offered by the university must ensure that they stand eligible for admission as per the guidelines defined by the university.
Eligibility
- The basic eligibility for admission to B. Tech is to have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects securing at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for reserved category students) from a recognized board.
Admission Procedure
- For admission to B. Tech, candidates must possess a valid score in JEE main, KCET, or COMED K entrance examinations.

Presidency University Integrated LLB Admission 2020
The School of Law of Presidency University Bangalore offers Integrated LL. B. programs at the undergraduate level. The programs offered by the university include BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B. Com LLB. The duration of the course is 5 years. Below mentioned is the eligibility criterion for admission to the programs:
Eligibility

Presidency University’s School of Management offers MBA program at the postgraduate level. The program is offered under several specializations for students to choose from based on their interest. Below mentioned is the basic eligibility criterion that candidates must follow in order to apply for the exam.
Eligibility
- For admission to MBA program, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted a relaxation of 5% marks for admission.
Admission Procedure
- For admission to MBA, candidates must possess a valid score in CAT, XAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, or Karnataka PGCET. Candidates would still be required to sit through the Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion, and Personal Interview round conducted by the university.
- Candidates are advised to appear for the Personal Interview round in person or through video call via Skype. The video call held on Skype will consist of Oral Extempore Presentation along with a Personal Interview round.
- The final shortlisting of candidates will be done based on candidates’ merit along with their performance in the evaluation test followed by personal interview round conducted by the university.
Presidency University Ph. D. Admission
The university also offers Ph. D. program at the doctorate level. The program is offered as full time and part time. Below mentioned is the eligibility criterion for admission to Ph. D. program:
Eligibility
- Candidates must possess a master’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Admission Procedure
- Admission to the Ph. D. program is done based on candidates’ performance in the research entrance examination followed by a personal interview round conducted by the university.
- Candidates with a valid score in GATE, NET, KSET, or CEED entrance examination will be considered eligible for admission to the program.
- Such candidates will be required to qualify the personal interview round conducted by the university.
