Graphic Era University, Dehradun commenced its establishment in the academic year of 1993. The institute was formerly known as Graphic Era Institute of Technology. The institute is located in Clement Town of Dehradun, Uttarakhand and it serves to be an institute of higher education. The institute is also considered one of the leading private universities in the country. The institute has been accorded the status of ‘Deemed University' and recognized by the University Grants Commission.

Approval and Accreditation

• Graphic era University has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and accredited with grade ‘A' by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
• Besides, the university is a member of Association of Indian University (AIU).

The infrastructure of the university is spread over an area of 25 acres of land. The society of Graphic Era University offers two universities and three campuses. These are mentioned as below:

The university has six schools formed inside of the campus based on several disciplines. Following are the schools:

• There are four conference halls that can accommodate a large number of students at a time. The halls are properly equipped with air-conditioners and Audio-video facility along with LCD projectors.
