Central University of Haryana, Placement and Opportunity Creation Center
The Central University of Haryana (CUH) believes that the purpose of education is to serve the society. Education should impart skills and knowledge to serve the nation and the globe as a whole. The Placement and Opportunity Center at Haryana Central University aims to facilitate the transformation process of students from learning to serving. Its objective is to find relevant opportunities for students in corporate and other sectors. It aims to develop an entrepreneurship spirit among the students and develop professional and ethical values.
The Placement and Opportunity Creation Center has faculty members from each department to have a better view of the placement process. The committee meets regularly to review the placement progress and to chart plans for the future.

Central University of Haryana, Placement Process
The placement process at CUH is as follows:
- Company Registration and Job Offers: The Placement and Opportunity Center is responsible for contacting and registering companies that would hire CUH students. If a company is interested in recruiting students from the Central University of Haryana then they usually register themselves with the Placement and Opportunity Center.
- Announcement of Job Openings: The Placement and Opportunity Center informs the students of the various job openings that they are offering. This includes Job Profiles, Roles, and Eligibility Criteria.
- Submission of Resume: Students who are interested in the job profiles offered by the company, can submit their resume for the particular role. Students can submit their resumes to multiple job profiles or as per the instructions set by the university.
- Shortlisting Candidates: After the students submit their resumes, the companies will then review the resumes. If they receive resumes that fit perfectly for their job profiles and the eligibility criteria then they will shortlist that resume.
- Written Tests and Interviews: After the companies shortlist the candidates based on their resumes, the shortlisted candidates will then be asked to appear for the written examination and interview. Few companies may conduct a written exam to assess the candidate's knowledge and skills. In the interviews, candidates might undergo multiple interviews like HR round, Technical Round, etc. In the interview, they evaluate the candidate's technical skills, problem-solving skills, communication, knowledge, etc.
- Job Offers: Candidates who perform well in their interviews will receive a job offer from the company/companies. This outlines details like job role, about the company, salary, terms and conditions, etc. Students are usually not allowed to accept more than 1 job offer.
- Placement: If the candidate feels that the offer given by the company is relevant then they will accept the offer. Once the offer is accepted then the candidate will not be able to accept another offer and their placement is considered to be complete.
- Offer Letter: The candidate will receive an offer letter from the company which will act as the official job offer by the company. The offer letter might be given to the candidate immediately or after a month or two depending on the company.
