Counseling Round 1 Schedule
Registration opens on August 13, 2026 , at 11 AM. It closes on August 16, 2026 , at 6 PM. Online fee payment runs concurrently with registration, ending on August 16 at 12 AM. Candidates can verify their documents from August 14 to August 18, 2026. This verification process includes checking documents at designated colleges and time slots. NRI candidates have separate verification procedures, detailed in a specific notice.
The list of successfully verified candidates will be published on August 19, 2026 , after 12 noon. The seat matrix for Round 1 will also be released at this time. Following this, candidates will complete online choice filling and locking. This activity runs from 4 PM on August 19 until 4 PM on August 21, 2026 .
Allotment and Reporting
The results for Round 1 allotment will be published on August 25, 2026 , after 4 PM. Candidates who receive an allotment must report to their assigned institutes. This reporting and admission process includes submitting original documents and college fees. The admission process for private medical colleges will occur at designated government medical colleges in Kolkata. A separate notice will detail these locations. Admissions for private dental colleges will take place at Dr. R Ahmed Dental College.
The reporting period is from 10 AM on August 26, 2026 , to 4 PM on August 28, 2026 . During this time, physical document verification will occur. Candidates must successfully re-verify their documents to secure admission. Online seat surrender at the allotted college level is permitted until 4 PM on September 3, 2026 .
