The West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has changed the date for releasing the admit cards for the Class 12 board exams in 2026. The admit cards will now be available on January 28, 2026 . This is a change from the earlier planned date of January 21, 2026.
Students who will be taking the West Bengal Class 12 board exams next year can get their admit cards from the official website of the WBCHSE. The website address is wbchse.wb.gov.in .
What is in the Admit Card?
The admit card is an important document for students. It has all the details about the student and their exams. This includes:
- Student's name
- Roll number
- Admit card number
- Exam dates
- Exam centre details
Students must check all the information on their admit card carefully. If there are any mistakes, they should tell the school authorities right away.
Official Notice about the Date Change
The board released an official notice explaining the reason for the change. It said, "The WB HS Examination - 2026 (old Syllabus) materials will be handed over to the authorised schools/venues on 28.01.2026 through different camps. In view of this, the issuance of the Admit card for the Semester IV Examination and the Supplementary Examination of Semester III through the council online portal has been revised to be issued on 28.01.2026."
This means that the distribution of exam materials to schools is happening on January 28, 2026, which is why the admit card release date was moved to the same day.
