Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) released the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2026 results on May 8, 2026 . Approximately 2.5 lakh students took the computer-based entrance test. The exam was held from April 28 to May 3, 2026.
Students can check their scores and All India Rank (AIR) on the official VITEEE website.
How to Check VITEEE 2026 Results
Candidates must visit the official VITEEE website, viteee.vit.ac.in or vit.ac.in . Click the active link for VITEEE Result 2026 on the homepage. Log in using your application number and password. Enter the provided Captcha and click 'Login'. Your rank card will display your score and AIR. Download and print this for the admission process.
VITEEE 2026 Counselling and Admissions
VIT will conduct phase-wise online counselling after the result announcement. Ranks up to 1,00,000 are eligible for counselling at all VIT campuses: Vellore, Andhra Pradesh, Bhopal, and Chennai. Ranks above 1 lakh are limited to VIT-AP and VIT Bhopal campuses.
VIT uses a Category fee system, from Category 1 to 5. Fees increase as ranks drop. For example, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) core at the Vellore campus typically admits students within the top 1500 ranks for Category 1. Admissions are solely based on VITEEE rank. VIT does not offer management quota or reservation seats.
