Application Fee
The application fee for VITEEE 2026 is INR 1350 . This fee is the same for all students, regardless of their category. Students can pay the fee using net-banking, credit card, or debit card. The fee is non-refundable.
New Exam Pattern for VITEEE 2026
For the first time, VITEEE 2026 will include negative marking. This is a big change for students.
- For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given.
- For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
The exam will have a total of 125 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) . These questions will cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Aptitude, and English. Students will have 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam.
Admission Process Overview
The VITEEE exam is the first step to get into BTech programs at Vellore Institute of Technology. After the exam, students who qualify will need to do slot booking. Slot booking allows students to choose their preferred exam time and date. After booking a slot, students can download their VITEEE e-admit card from the OTBS portal.
