Uttarakhand has replaced its Madrasa Board with the Uttarakhand Minority Education Authority. The change took effect on July 1, 2026 . Authority Composition
The State Minority Education Authority includes a Chairperson. Nominated members represent minority communities. Ex-officio members from education departments are also included. These departments include school education, SCERT, and Minority Welfare. The state government states this composition ensures broad representation.
