UPSC NDA NA 2026 Admit Card: Release, Exam Dates, Instructions

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2026 admit card by April 5, 2026 . The examination is scheduled for April 12, 2026 . Candidates must download their admit card from the official UPSC website, upsconline.nic.in . A hard copy of the admit card is required for entry to the exam hall, along with a valid photo identification card. No physical admit cards will be issued.

Admit Card Instructions

Candidates with issues on their e-Admit card, such as unclear photographs, missing names, or dates, must bring a valid photo ID and two recent passport-size photographs. These photographs should include the candidate's name and date. One photograph is needed for each exam session. Report any discrepancies immediately to UPSC via email at usnda-upsc@nic.in .

Entry and Timings

Entry to examination centers closes 30 minutes before the scheduled start time of each session. The forenoon session begins at 10 AM . The afternoon session starts at 2 PM . Candidates must report to their assigned venue only. Late entries will not be permitted after the gates close.

Exam Hall Regulations

Prohibited items inside the examination hall include bags, mobile phones, smart watches, digital watches, and any electronic devices. Books and other restricted materials are also forbidden. The UPSC will not provide storage for these items. Permitted items are the e-Admit card, a valid photo ID, passport-size photographs, and a black ballpoint pen for marking OMR sheets. Standard wristwatches without special features are allowed; smart watches are prohibited.

Consequences and Procedures

Possessing or using electronic devices within the venue can lead to disciplinary action. This may include cancellation of candidature or registration of a First Information Report (FIR). Candidates who have changed their name must present a government-issued photo ID reflecting their current name. Representations regarding the question paper can be submitted online through the UPSC QPRep portal from April 13 to April 19, 2026 , until 6 PM.
