The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the admit cards for Computer Operator Grade A and Programmer Grade 2 exams. Candidates who applied for these 985 government jobs can now download their hall tickets.
The admit cards became available on October 28, 2025 . The written examination will be held on November 1, 2025 . Earlier, candidates could check their exam city details from October 24, 2025 .
How to Download Your Admit Card
Follow these simple steps to get your UP Police Computer Operator or Programmer admit card:
- Visit the official website: uppbpb.gov.in .
- Find the link for “UP Police Computer Operator Admit Card 2025” or “Hall Ticket Download”. Click on it.
- Enter your Application Number and your Date of Birth.
- Click “Submit”.
- Your admit card will show on the screen.
- Download and print a copy.
Remember: You must carry a printed admit card to the exam hall. Also, bring a valid photo ID (like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License).

Application Fees and Age Limit
The application fee was ₹400/- for all categories (General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST).
The age limit, as on July 01, 2023 , was:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years

Vacancy Details and Eligibility
This recruitment is for a total of 985 posts :
- Computer Operator Grade A: 930 posts . Required 12th pass with Physics OR Mathematics, plus ‘O’ Level Course OR Diploma in Computer Science/IT/Electronics Engineering. Typing speed: English 30 WPM, Hindi 25 WPM.
- Programmer Grade 2: 55 posts . Required Bachelor’s Degree with NIELIT ‘A’ Level Exam OR B.Sc in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/PGDCA.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The written exam will cover these subjects:
- General Knowledge
- Mental Ability
- Reasoning Ability
- Computer Science/Knowledge
The exam will have 160 questions for 200 marks . Candidates will get 2 hours (120 minutes) to finish the exam.
Expected Salary
Selected candidates will receive a salary as per government rules. The basic pay scale is from ₹5,200/- to ₹20,200/- per month, with a Grade Pay of ₹2,400/- . The estimated take-home (in-hand) salary will be between ₹25,500/- to ₹81,100/- per month, along with other allowances.
