UP ITI Admission 2026: First Selection Result Out

The Uttar Pradesh State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) released the first selection list for UP ITI admissions on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Selected candidates can now enroll and confirm their seats. The admission process is open for six-month, one-year, and two-year courses. These courses are offered at government, private, and public-private partnership Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Uttar Pradesh.

Admission Timeline and Enrollment

Selected candidates must complete their enrollment and freeze or float their seats between August 27 and September 4, 2026 . Applicants need to report to their allocated ITI with specific documents. These include the call letter, original certificates, photocopies of mark sheets, and passport-sized photographs.

Educational Qualification Requirements

Eligibility for UP ITI admission is based on specific educational qualifications. The ITI prospectus details these requirements in Appendices 2 to 10. Candidates must review this information carefully before selecting their desired trade.

General qualification requirements include:

  • 8th Pass : Qualification Code 1.
  • 10th Pass or Equivalent : Qualification Code 2.
  • 10th Pass (with Science and Maths) : Qualification Code 4.
  • Specific Trades (Fire Technology, Industrial Safety Management, Health, Safety & Environment) : 10th pass under the 10+2 system or equivalent is required. Additional physical standards include a height of 165 cm, weight of 52 kg, chest measurement of 81 cm (with 85 cm expansion), and a medical fitness certificate from a registered MBBS doctor. These trades fall under Qualification Codes 7 and 9.
