Uttar Pradesh allocated 12.8% of its total budget to education for the 2026-27 financial year. The plan includes funding for school infrastructure, digital learning, and skills training.

Key Budget Allocations

The government designated ₹55,792 crore for government-aided primary schools. An additional ₹7,738 crore will support the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. This program focuses on developing schools and providing study materials.
