Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will honor 223 top-scoring students from UP Board, CBSE, and CISCE examinations on June 1 . The ceremony will recognize students who achieved the top 10 positions within each district across various boards.
State-Level Recognition Event
The state government is hosting an event in Lucknow for these high-achieving students. Each honoree and one parent are invited to attend. The ceremony begins at 11 AM . Top students must arrive in Lucknow by 5 PM on May 31 .
The event will be broadcast live to all district headquarters. This allows students across Uttar Pradesh to witness the recognition.
Awards and Prizes
A total of 223 students will receive awards. These awards include a cash prize, a tablet, and a certificate. The government aims to recognize academic excellence from multiple examination boards.
Students will also receive district-level recognition. These students will get a cash prize of ₹21,000 , a medal, and a certificate.
The prize money will be directly transferred to the students' bank accounts by the state government. This initiative supports students who have excelled academically.

District-Level Recognition
Beyond the state-level awards, 1,459 students will be recognized at the district level. These students also ranked in the top 10 within their respective districts. Each of these students will receive ₹21,000 , a medal, and a certificate.
The Director of Secondary Education, Dr. Mahendra Dev, has instructed District School Inspectors. They are responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all arrangements.
