The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has extended the deadline for evaluating answer sheets for UP Board Exams 2026. The new deadline for checking Class 10 and Class 12 answer sheets is April 4, 2026 .
The evaluation process began on March 18, 2026. It was originally scheduled to conclude by April 1, 2026. Officials stated that public holidays caused delays. Holidays included Eid-ul-Fitr on March 21 and Ram Navami on March 26 and 27.
The board also requires the submission of award lists to regional offices. This submission must occur by April 5, 2026 .
UP Board Class 10, 12 Exam 2026 Details
The UPMSP is expected to release the UPMSP Result 2026 by the third or fourth week of April 2026. Students can check their results on the official websites: upmsp.edu.in and upresults.nic.in .
The UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 exams were held from February 18 to March 12, 2026. Exams were conducted in offline, pen-and-paper mode. There were two shifts daily. The morning shift ran from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. The afternoon shift was from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
Practical exams for Class 10 and 12 took place earlier. These were conducted in phases during January and early February 2026.
UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2026: Minimum Passing Marks
To pass, students need at least 33% marks in each subject . This applies to both High School and Intermediate exams.
For Class 12 students taking subjects with practicals, 33% is required in theory and practical exams separately. For Class 10, practical subject requirements may combine marks, depending on the subject.
