The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will print student signatures on admit cards for the 2027 board exams. This new measure aims to prevent impersonation and increase exam security. Students must upload digital copies of their signatures when applying for the exams.
New Anti-Cheating Measures
Over 50 lakh students are expected to take the UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations in 2027. The UPMSP implemented this change after encountering numerous cases of impersonation. Previously, individuals other than registered candidates sat for exams. Reports also indicated collusion between some private schools and cheating syndicates. These groups allegedly used photo-editing to allow paid solvers into exam centers.
