The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has started the Class 12 practical exams for 2026 . For the first time, all marks for these exams will be sent to the board using a mobile app. This new system aims to make sure the marks are correct and transparent.

Last year, the online system was tested. Teachers had to submit marks both online and on paper to be safe. Now, the board has made the online submission using the mobile app a rule for all schools.

New Digital System for Practical Exam Marks

The UPMSP wants to reduce mistakes in reporting practical exam marks. They have created a special mobile app for teachers. This app has a double-entry system to check for errors.

Here’s how it works:

  • Teachers can upload marks for up to 80 students at once.
  • After entering the marks, the app asks them to enter the same marks again in a second window.
  • If the marks entered the second time do not match the first entry, the app will show the difference. The teacher can then fix any mistakes.
  • The app will not accept marks if there is a mismatch.

This new method is designed to make the process of submitting practical exam marks more accurate and trustworthy.

Location Check and Feedback Option

The mobile app also has a safety feature. It checks the location of the teacher when they log in. The app matches the teacher's current location with the location registered for the exam centre. This helps ensure that the marks are being uploaded from the correct place.

Teachers can also use the system to give feedback or report any problems they face during the practical exams. They can log in to the official UPMSP website at upmsp.edu.in . A special section is available for submitting suggestions or complaints. Teachers can also upload handwritten feedback using a browser on the website. For submitting feedback, the location check is not needed.

This move by UPMSP shows a strong focus on using technology to improve the accuracy and transparency of the examination process for Class 12 students.
