The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has started the Class 12 practical exams for 2026 . This year, a new digital system is being used to submit student marks online. This is to make the process faster and reduce mistakes.
Examiners will use a special mobile app created by UPMSP to upload the marks for Class 12 practical exams. This is the first time this digital system is being used for all practical exams. Last year, it was tried out, and this year it has been made mandatory.
New Digital System for Marks
The main goal of this new system is to ensure marks are entered correctly and the process is transparent. The mobile app uses a double-entry system . This means examiners have to enter the marks for a group of up to 80 students twice. The app checks if the two entries match. If there is a difference, the examiner is shown the mistake so they can correct it. The app will not accept any wrong or mismatched marks.
Another feature of the app is that it checks the examiner's location. When an examiner logs in from the exam centre, the app matches their current location with the registered location. This helps ensure the exams are conducted properly.
Feedback and Complaints Online
Besides submitting marks, the UPMSP has also made it easy for examiners to share feedback or report any problems with the practical exams. They can log in to the official website, upmsp.edu.in , using their user ID and password. There is a special section where they can submit suggestions. They can also upload handwritten feedback through their browser. Location checking is not needed for submitting feedback or complaints.
This new digital system is expected to make the UP Board Class 12 practical exam process more accurate, efficient, and transparent for everyone involved.
