The UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2026 takes place today, May 31, 2026. Bundelkhand University (BU), Jhansi is administering the state-level exam. Hundreds of thousands of candidates are seeking admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programs across Uttar Pradesh. The exam uses a traditional pen-and-paper format. Candidates will use OMR sheets to answer questions. The examination is divided into two shifts to ensure transparency. Negative marking is in effect for incorrect answers.
Exam Schedule
The UP B.Ed JEE 2026 spans a total of six hours. This time is divided into two distinct three-hour sessions. Attendance in both sessions is mandatory. Candidates will be disqualified if they miss a session.

Test center gates will close 30 minutes before each shift begins. Candidates must arrive by 8:30 AM for Shift 1. The deadline for Shift 2 is 1:30 PM. Latecomers will not be admitted.
OMR Sheet Instructions
Proper OMR sheet completion is crucial. Optical scanners process these sheets. Mistakes can lead to disqualification.
- Use only a black or blue ballpoint pen to fill bubbles.
- Do not use gel pens or fountain pens. These inks can smudge.
- Do not use correction fluid or tape.
- Do not erase or scratch out incorrect bubbles.
- Sheets with double marks or scratches will not be processed.
Candidates may detach the carbon copy of their OMR sheet. This can be kept after Shift 2 concludes.
Required Documents
Candidates must present specific documents for entry. Exact matches are required.
- Two hard copies of the admit card . Obtain these from bujhansi.ac.in. One copy goes to the invigilator.
- Two passport-sized photographs . These must match the application photo. Affix one to the attendance sheet.
- Original photo identification . Acceptable IDs include Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport.
