The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the UGC NET December 2025 examination today. This answer key is available for all subjects. Students who took the exam can now check their answers. NTA has also published the individual response sheets of all candidates.

Candidates can download their answer key and response sheet from the official NTA website. Follow these steps:

  • Click on the link "UGC NET December Answer Key 2025".
  • A login page will open.
  • Enter your Application Number .
  • Enter your Date of Birth .
  • Type the security code shown.
  • Click "Submit".
  • Your UGC NET answer key and response sheet will display.
  • Download and save this document. Print a copy for your records.

How to Challenge the Provisional Answer Key

If you believe an answer in the provisional key is wrong, you can challenge it. Here’s the process:

  • Visit the official UGC NET website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
  • Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth.
  • Find the link for "Challenge Answer Key" or "Raise Objections".
  • Select the question(s) you want to challenge.
  • Provide clear reasons for your objection.
  • Upload documental proof to support your claim (e.g., from a textbook).
  • Review your challenges.
  • Submit your objections before the deadline.

After the objection period ends on January 17 , NTA will review all challenges. Experts will check each claim. If an objection is found valid, NTA will make changes. A final answer key will then be released. The final results for UGC NET December 2025 will be based on this final answer key.
