Important Admission Procedures
Candidates must act quickly after receiving an allotment. Failure to follow procedures can lead to cancellation of candidature or forfeited seats.
Seat Acceptance and Declining Offers
Selected candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee by the deadline specified in the allotment letter. Not paying means the seat offer is cancelled. Candidates who decline an offer will not be considered for future rounds.
Subsequent Rounds and Options
Seats not accepted or declined will be offered in Rounds 2 through 5. A candidate's choice after allotment depends on their preference rank. If allotted their first choice, they can 'Freeze' (accept and exit counseling) or 'Decline' (reject and withdraw). If allotted a lower preference, they can 'Freeze' or 'Float'. 'Float' means accepting the current seat but remaining eligible for a higher preference.
'Float' Option Specifics
Candidates choosing 'Float' do not pay the seat acceptance fee again if a better seat is offered later. The 'Float' option is active only until the payment end date of Round IV.
Refund Policy
Refunds are applicable only for withdrawals by the Round-II deadline. A Rs 5,000 processing fee is deducted. Refunds are Rs 55,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the refund is Rs 10,000 . No refunds are provided for withdrawals after Round II.
