The list of colleges accepting UCEED 2026 scores for Bachelor of Design (B.Des) admissions has been updated. Five new colleges will now use UCEED 2026 scores to admit students. This update gives more options for students looking to pursue a design degree.
UCEED stands for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design. IIT Bombay conducts this national-level exam. It is for students who want to join Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programs in various institutes.
New Colleges Accepting UCEED 2026 Scores
For the academic year 2026-2027 , five new institutions will accept UCEED 2026 scores. These are called 'Result-Sharing Institutes'. They will use UCEED scores to admit students to their B.Des (Honours) programs. However, these colleges are not part of the main Joint Admission process handled by IIT Bombay .
The new colleges that will accept UCEED 2026 scores are:
- Parul University , Vadodara, Gujarat
- Sister Nivedita University , Kolkata, West Bengal
- Unitedworld Institute of Design , Gandhinagar, Gujarat
- Bennett University - School of Design , Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh
- Institute of Design, Nirma University , Ahmedabad, Gujarat
These institutes will set aside some seats for students applying through UCEED scores. Students who wish to apply to these colleges must visit the individual college websites. The websites will have details on how many seats are available, how to apply, and the admission process for the B.Des course. For any questions, students should contact the specific college directly.
UCEED Participating IITs and IIITs 2026
Besides the new Result-Sharing Institutes, several Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and one Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) also accept UCEED scores for their B.Des programs. These are known as 'Participating Institutes' and are part of the Joint Admission process.

- Result-Sharing Institutes (New Colleges Listed Above) : These colleges will use your UCEED score but will manage their own application and admission processes. You must apply to them separately.
