The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) will send TS Intermediate Hall Tickets for 2026 exams directly to parents' phones via WhatsApp. This new system starts this year for both 1st and 2nd-year students. Parents will get a download link on their registered mobile numbers to view the hall ticket before the final exams.
This new feature lets students and parents check all the details on the hall ticket early. It helps to make sure everything is correct before the main exams. The board has also changed a major rule for students who failed exams earlier.
How to Get Your TS Inter Hall Ticket via WhatsApp
Students will receive a special link on WhatsApp. This link will be sent to the mobile number that parents registered with the board. Here is how students can download their hall tickets:
- For 1st-year students : You need to enter your TS SSC roll number and your date of birth .
- For 2nd-year students : You need to enter your 1st-year roll number and your date of birth .
The hall ticket for 2nd-year students will also show details from their 1st year. This includes marks for subjects you passed, information about subjects you failed, and the full exam schedule. This helps parents understand their child's academic progress.
Check Your Hall Ticket Carefully
The Telangana Board has asked all parents to check the preview hall ticket very carefully. Make sure these details are correct:
- Subjects listed for your exams.
- Medium of exam (e.g., English, Telugu, Urdu).
- Your chosen group .
- Your photo and signature .
- Your personal details like name, father's name, and date of birth.
If you find any mistakes or problems on the hall ticket, you must report them quickly. You can tell your college principal or the District Intermediate Education Officer (DIEO) for your area. They will help fix the errors.

Big Change: No More 5-Year Rule
The TGBIE has also removed an old rule. Earlier, students had to complete their intermediate course within 5 years. This rule has now been removed. This means students who failed exams and could not finish their course in 5 years can now apply again. They can appear for their failed exams without any time limit.
