The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) will release three recruitment notifications on Tuesday. Five to six additional notifications are expected in June. The Finance Department has approved recruitment for approximately 3,800 vacant positions across various departments, including 1,393 Forest Beat Officer posts.
The TGPSC faces recruitment challenges in some categories due to a low number of vacancies. Twenty-eight categories each have only one vacancy. Another 25 categories have fewer than five posts. Regular notifications aim to help candidates plan their preparation. Frequent updates will reduce uncertainty and provide more frequent job announcements.
TGPSC Introduces Computer-Based Tests and Pratibha Bharati
The Telangana Public Service Commission is transitioning from OMR-based exams to Computer-Based Tests (CBT). TGPSC Chairman stated that CBT exams offer a smoother and more flexible process. Candidates will receive immediate exam scores, improving transparency and reducing delays. All applicants should prepare for CBT exams as this format will be used for most future tests. Familiarity with online testing and computer-based exam patterns is advised.
The Commission is also launching 'Pratibha Bharati.' This initiative connects qualified but unselected candidates with employers. The program helps candidates who perform well but miss final selection due to limited vacancies. It provides employers with access to a pool of verified talent. These reforms aim to make recruitment faster and fairer for job seekers in Telangana.
