Seat Matrix Release
The release of the seat matrix follows the registration period for NEET UG counselling 2026. Registrations commenced on June 29, 2026 . The application window closed on July 23, 2026 . Candidates can now view the distribution of seats across various medical and dental colleges in the state.
Accessing the Seat Matrix
To access the seat matrix, students must visit the official website, tnmedicalselection.net. Navigate to the 'notifications' section and select 'View All'. The seat matrix PDF documents will be listed there. It is recommended to download these PDFs for future reference during the counselling process.
Two primary documents are available:

Required Documents for Counselling
Candidates participating in the TN NEET UG Counselling 2026 must prepare a list of essential documents. These documents are necessary for verification throughout the admission process. Ensure all original documents and photocopies are ready.
The list of required documents includes:
- Aadhar Card
- Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Ration Card
- Passport
- NEET 2026 Scorecard/Result
- NEET 2026 Admit Card
- Class 10th and 11th Marksheets
- Class 12th Marksheet or equivalent
- Bona fide certificate: Proof of studying from Class 6 to Class 12 in a Tamil Nadu school.
- Transfer certificate from the last attended school. Alternatively, a bonafide certificate from the current institution.
- Nativity certificate: For candidates native to Tamil Nadu but studied Class 6 to 12 outside the state.
