How to Challenge the SSC JE Answer Key
If you find any discrepancy or error in the released answer key, you can submit an objection. Follow these steps:
- After logging in and viewing your answer key, locate the option to 'Raise Objection' or 'Challenge Answer Key'.
- Select the question(s) you wish to challenge.
- Clearly state your reason for the objection and provide any supporting proof or references.
- Pay the required objection fee of INR 50 for each question you challenge.

What Happens After Objections are Processed?
After the objection period ends and all challenges are reviewed, the Staff Selection Commission will release the final answer key for SSC JE Tier 1. Soon after, the results for Paper 1 will be announced. Paper 1 is a screening test. Candidates who score above the cut-off marks set by the SSC will qualify for the next stage of the selection process, which is the SSC JE Paper 2 (Mains) exam.
The marks obtained in Paper 2 are crucial for selection. Qualified candidates from Paper 2 will move to the document verification stage. Final recruitment to Junior Engineer posts will be based on the combined performance in Paper 2 and successful document verification, according to candidate preferences and availability of vacancies.
