SSC GD City Slip 2026: Exam Dates & Download Soon

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is getting ready to release the City Intimation Slip for the GD Constable exam 2026. This slip will let candidates know which city they will take their exam in. The SSC GD Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled to take place from April 27 to May 30, 2026 . The exam will be held in four different phases across the country.

What is the City Intimation Slip?

The City Intimation Slip is an important document that SSC releases before the admit card. It helps candidates plan their travel and stay as it tells them the exam city and date well in advance. Candidates will need their registration number and password to download this slip from the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

How to Download the City Intimation Slip

  • Look for the 'Login' section or a link related to the GD Constable 2026 exam.
  • Enter your SSC registration number and password .
  • Find and click on the 'SSC GD Constable 2026 exam' tab.
  • Your exam city and date will be displayed.
  • Download the slip and save it for future reference.

What Details to Check on the Slip

The City Intimation Slip will include the following details:

  • Candidate's Name
  • Roll Number
  • Registration Number
  • Exam City Name
  • Scheduled Date of Exam
  • Shift Timing
  • Instructions for reporting to the exam centre

Admit Card Details

The SSC GD Admit Card, which is the main entry pass for the exam, will be released about three days before the exam date. SSC will not send admit cards by post. Candidates must carry their admit card to the examination centre. Without it, they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

Selection Process

The selection process for the SSC GD Constable posts includes several stages: a written examination (CBT), a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification, and a Medical Test.
