The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city information slip for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) 2025 Tier 1 exam. This slip tells candidates about their exam city, exam date, and shift timings. All candidates who applied for the SSC CHSL 2025 exam should check this slip on the official website: ssc.gov.in .

It is important for all students to check their details as soon as possible. The information on this slip helps you plan your travel to the exam center. Remember, this is not your final Admit Card. The admit card, which is needed to enter the exam hall, will be released later.

How to Check Your Exam City Slip

To check your SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 1 exam city slip, follow these simple steps:

  • Go to the official SSC website: ssc.gov.in .
  • Look for the link that says " SSC CHSL 2025 Tier 1 Exam City Intimation Slip " or similar.
  • Click on this link.
  • You will need to log in. Enter your Registration Number and Password .
  • Your exam city, date, and shift details will appear on the screen.
  • Check all the details carefully. You can also save or print this slip for your records.

Understanding Your Exam City Allotment

The SSC tried to give candidates their preferred exam cities. Here is how the cities were allotted:

  • For candidates who chose a slot: Most of these candidates got their preferred exam city and date. However, due to some management reasons, a few candidates might have received a different shift but the same exam city.
  • For candidates who chose an alternate city: These candidates generally received a city from their chosen alternate preferences.
  • For candidates who did not choose a slot: The Commission assigned them an exam city, date, and shift based on availability. Most of these candidates also got a city from their preferences.

What to Do If You Didn't Get Your Preferred City

If you did not get an exam city from your preferred choices, you can raise a complaint or submit feedback. The SSC has opened a special portal for this.

You must submit your complaint through the feedback portal on the SSC website by November 8, 2025, at 11:00 PM . The Commission will check these requests. They may change your exam city if there are open slots available.

Important Update for Candidates Using a Scribe

If you are a candidate who needs a scribe (someone to write the exam for you), there are new rules you must follow:

  • New Registration is Must: All candidates using their own scribe must register their scribe again on the official website. Any old scribe registrations are now cancelled.
  • Aadhaar Link: Scribe registration is now linked with the Aadhaar system. This means it is compulsory for all scribes to register fresh using their Aadhaar details.
  • Scribe Entry Pass: To get the Scribe Entry Pass, candidates must provide their scribe's new registration number.
  • Deadline for Scribe Mapping: You must complete the scribe mapping process by November 8, 2025, at 11:00 PM .
  • Only candidates who successfully map their scribe before the deadline will receive the entry pass.

The SSC has also changed the maximum age limit for scribes as per their updated policy. All other rules about scribes remain the same as before.
