Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) has announced the results for the first round of the SEED B.Des 2026 entrance test. Candidates can check their scores now on the official website, sid.edu.in . The results were declared on January 19, 2026 , for students who took the exam on January 11, 2026.
To download the scorecard, applicants must log in using their B.Des ID and password . It is advised to use a laptop or desktop computer for downloading the result, not a mobile phone or tablet.

What Happens Next?
Candidates who pass the SEED B.Des test will be eligible for SID’s Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI). The shortlist of candidates for PRPI will be released on January 23, 2026 . The PRPI will be held online.
The final selection for the B.Des program at SID depends on several factors. These include the SEED test score, the portfolio review, the PRPI task, and the personal interview. Information given in the application form and the chosen specialisation will also be considered.
Portfolio Requirements
Your portfolio for SEED B.Des 2026 should include:
- Sketches, mixed media illustrations, and digital artworks.
- Collages of images, 2D and 3D items.
- Photography samples.
- 3D objects like sculptures, fabric products, gadgets, or art-inspired products.

If you missed Round 1, the registration for SEED B.Des Round 2 is now open. The last date to fill the application form for Round 2 is March 12, 2026 . The entrance exam for Round 2 will be held on March 22, 2026 .
