Eligibility for SEED M.Des 2026
Candidates must meet these education requirements to apply for the SEED M.Des 2026 program:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree. This degree should be at least four years long and can be in any subject. It must be from an Indian university or institute recognized by law, after completing 12th standard.
- Alternatively, candidates can have a full-time Diploma. This Diploma must be at least four years long in Design, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or Architecture. This must also be from an Indian university or institute recognized by law, after completing 12th standard.
- For both options, candidates need at least 50% marks . For Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the minimum marks are 45% .
How to Apply Online for SEED M.Des 2026
Applying for the SEED M.Des 2026 exam is an online process. Follow these steps:
- Visit Website: Go to the official SID website: sid.edu.in .
- Find Application Link: Look for the 'SEED 2026 M.Des Application' or 'Registration' link. Click on it.

This round is called the Studio Test and Personal Interaction (STPI). The STPI will be held on May 09 and 10, 2026 . Here, candidates' design abilities and communication skills will be checked through practical tests and an interview.
