Eight student teams won top awards at the School Youth Ideathon 2025 grand finale held recently at IIT Delhi . This national competition saw over 102,000 teams from schools across India take part. The finale brought together 125 top teams, showing their new ideas and solutions.
The School Youth Ideathon (SYI) 2025 is one of India's biggest entrepreneurship challenges for school students. It gives students a platform to turn their business ideas into real solutions for the world. The theme for this year was “Nayi Soch Naya Bharat” (New Thinking, New India).
The event was organized by ThinkStartup and Management Entrepreneurship Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) . The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) also supported this initiative. Students from Classes 4 to 12 were able to participate in the competition.
Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director (Skill Education) at CBSE, spoke at the closing event. He said, "Today’s young innovators show a bold, self-reliant, and creative India. Their ideas prove that with the right support, students can solve real problems and help build our nation."

- Health at Home: Amity International School (Mayur Vihar, New Delhi)
- Make for the Planet: Reliance Foundation EM School (Nagothane)
- Glory of India: Kola Saraswat Vaishnav School (Chennai)
- Future of Learning: CS Academy (Coimbatore)
Special Award
A special award was given to Team Mindmaze from Pushplata Vidya Mandir, Tirunelveli. They won this award in the female category from SheAtWork , a platform for women entrepreneurs.
Col. Anil Pokhriyal, CEO of MEPSC, commented, "The ideas we saw were excellent. These students are not just thinkers; they are ready to create the future with their cleverness and strong goals." Shivani Singh Kapoor, Founder of ThinkStartup Foundation, added, "SYI 2025 showed how strong student ideas can be when they get the right support. The finale at IIT Delhi is a proud moment for everyone involved in promoting 'Nayi Soch Naya Bharat'."
Uday Reddy, Founder & CEO of Tanla Platforms, also supported the event. He said, "New ideas are important for solving big problems. This platform helps young minds think creatively and make a real difference in the world."
