Registration for the 2026-27 SAT exam cycle is now open on collegeboard.org. Students planning to apply for undergraduate programs abroad can register for tests scheduled between August 2026 and June 2027.

Key Dates and Deadlines

The first SAT exam of the cycle is on August 22, 2026 . The regular registration deadline for this date is August 7, 2026 . Students can make application corrections until August 11, 2026 .

How to Register

Students must complete registration online through the official College Board website.

  1. Visit collegeboard.org .
  2. Create a College Board account using personal details and a valid email address. Ensure these match your photo identification.
  3. Select your preferred SAT test date and testing center.
  4. Upload a recent passport-size photograph.
  5. Pay the required SAT registration fees.
  6. Download your admission ticket. Bring this ticket and a valid photo ID to the test center on exam day.

Eligibility Criteria

The SAT has no age or minimum educational qualification requirements. Students aged 21 and above need a government-issued photo ID.
