Samsung has announced the winners of its 'Solve for Tomorrow 2025' program. Four student teams have each received INR 1 crore (10 million rupees) as a grant to further develop their technology ideas. This money will support them at IIT Delhi’s FITT Labs , where they will get help and guidance to turn their projects into real-world solutions.
This program is a national competition by Samsung. It encourages young Indian students to create new technology to solve important problems in their local areas. This year's competition was the fourth time Samsung held this event.
Winning Innovations
The four winning teams showcased creative solutions to different challenges. Here are the teams and their projects:
| Team Name | Location | Innovation Idea |
| Percevia | Bengaluru | Smart glasses that use AI to help visually impaired people. The glasses identify objects and tell the user where they are using voice and vibration. |

The Selection Process
Thousands of students from across India took part in Samsung Solve for Tomorrow this year. They presented new ideas that aimed to help people. For the first time, finalists got to use advanced research and development facilities at FITT. This helped them improve their ideas before the final round.
A group of judges chose the winners. These judges included leaders from Samsung, and experts from universities, government, and various industries. They looked at solutions in four main areas:
- Using AI for a safer, smarter, and more inclusive India.
- Improving health, hygiene, and well-being in India.
- Protecting the environment through technology.
- Bringing social change through sports and technology.

Building India's Future
Samsung works with government bodies like Startup India (DPIIT) , MeitY Startup Hub , and Atal Innovation Mission (NITI Aayog) . These partnerships help create more opportunities for young people from all over India to become innovators.
Mr. JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, said that the program helps make technology available to everyone and celebrates new ideas from all parts of India. He noted that many good ideas came from small towns and villages. Samsung wants to keep using technology for good, helping these young innovators build a more inclusive India, in line with government plans like Digital India and Startup India.
Professor Ajay K Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, added that this generation of young innovators is important for India. He believes that ideas that come from local challenges can help India become a leading nation in product development.
