SAMS Odisha has released the first round provisional allotment results for Postgraduate (PG) admissions today, August 7, 2026 . Applicants can check their status and download allotment letters on the official website, pg.samsodisha.gov.in .
The results became available at 4 PM. Candidates who secured a seat must choose an option to proceed with their admission. These options include Freeze, Slide, or Float.
Students opting to confirm their admission are required to pay the admission fee. This payment must be made through the SAMS Students Account Portal. The deadline to submit the admission fee is August 11, 2026 .
Admission Process Following Allotment
Students who received a seat in the first round must report to their allotted institutions for admission. The reporting period runs from August 8, 2026, to August 11, 2026 .
Applicants must bring all required original documents, certificates, and the fee receipt to the institution. Failure to report within the specified timeframe will result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.
Required Documents for Admission
Candidates should prepare the following documents for verification and submission:
- Original Certificates (as specified in the Intimation Letter)
- Three passport-size color photographs
- Residence Certificate
- Income Certificate
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
Additionally, specific original documents will be retained by the college or university authority. These include:
- College Leaving Certificate from the last attended institution
- Conduct Certificate from the last attended institution
- Migration Certificate (to be retained by the admitting institution)
The following original documents will be returned to the applicant after the admission process concludes:
- Mark sheets and Pass Certificates for Matriculation/10th Board Examination
- Mark sheets and Pass Certificates for Higher Secondary (+2) Examination
- Mark sheets and Pass Certificates for Degree (+3) Examination
- Certificates for any reservation or weightage claimed
